We specify second glazing with balanced ventilation as a permanent low cost solution to ongoing condensation problems.  By preventing the significant temperature differences between internal and external glazing there is no trigger to allow condensation to form.

 

By increasing the gap between the outer and inner pane the heat benefits are greatly increased and in a time of rising gas and electricity prices, and the environmental costs it can only be a good thing for all of us.
